2018 Cougar Baseball Camp:

JUNE 11 – 14     9:00 AM – NOON     MIDDLE SCHOOL (2017 – 2018 GRADE)

JUNE 18 – 21     9:00 AM – NOON     K – GRADE 6 (2017 – 2018 GRADE)

Improve your throwing, catching, fielding , and hitting fundamentals.  Participants will play in game competition.  Emphasis will be placed on fundamentals and fun.  Richard Hurt, BHSN Varsity Coach, will direct the camp along with assistant coaches and North players.  T-Shirt included.

2018 Cougar Basketball Camps:

BHSN Youth Basketball Camp, May 14th – 16th 

The Bloomington High School North Boys & Girls Basketball programs will be holding the Cougar Basketball camp for players entering K-6th grade on May 14th-16th. The K-3rd Grade camp for boys and girls will take place from 5:30-7pm while 4th-6th grade will play from 7-8:30pm at the BHSN gyms; cost is $50.  Interested girls should register at: http://www.ladycougarsbasketball.com. Interested boys should register at: http://www.bloomingtonnorthbasketball.com. Pre-registration through the website is highly encouraged.  Coach Speer, Coach Turmail, the coaching staffs & current BHSN players will conduct the Cougar Elementary camp.  The camp will focus on skill development and the establishment of good fundamentals that will prepare them to be sound basketball players in the future. Items of focus will include defensive and offensive fundamentals, with a focus on shooting, ball handling, and passing skills.

 

Cougar Boys Middle School Basketball Camp Announcement:

The Bloomington High School North Boys Basketball program will be holding the Cougar Basketball camp for players entering 7th-9th grade on May 8th-11th.  ; cost $100. The 7th-8th Grade camp for boys will take place from 5:30-7pm while 9th grade will play from 7-8:30pm at the BHSN gyms. Interested boys should register at: http://www.bloomingtonnorthbasketball.com.  Pre-registration through the website is highly encouraged.  Coach Speer & the boys’ basketball coaching staff will conduct the Cougar Middle School Camp. The camp will focus on individual skill development through varsity drills. Items of focus will include man-to-man defense concepts, and fundamentals including shooting, ball handling, and passing techniques. The players will also be introduced to North’s offense and defense, which will better prepare them for their future at the Middle and High School levels. In addition to the camp experience, there will be more June basketball opportunities for the 7th-9th graders who attend camp. Many of the players will be asked to participate in a local summer league at Twin Lakes against other teams from the surrounding area, more scheduled June practices in preparation for the league games, and possible one-day tournaments as they become available in the month of June.
