The Cougar Competition Cheer team travelled to Orlando, FL for the 2015 U.C.A. Cheer Nationals and came away with a 5th place finish. The team put on an amazing show and represented BHSN very well. Their division was the toughest one of the whole weekend and the ESPN Wide World pavilion was packed when they performed.
The Cougar Swim Teams traveled to Jasper for the Wildcat Invitational and came home double winners. The girl’s team scored 494 points to better runner-up Jasper and win their first team title since 2002. The boy’s team scored 601 points to lead the nine-team field.
The host Cougars finished second in the Bo Henry Wrestling Classic. The Cougars advanced all fourteen wrestlers to the final round to score 252 points, just shy of Castle, the team champion with 266.
